Thanks for the link to that video. In the video, he removes that whole front panel with the USB ports with the side trim still attached. But it looks like just removing the leather passenger trim will expose the area behind the trim piece I'm focused on. Although It would be nice to have the...
I've had my car since mid-August; just broke 600 miles last week. It sat undriven the first 6 weeks while I waited to have PPF and tints applied. I have another car too so am selective about when I drive it.
How did you remove the vertical plastic trim piece to the right of the shifter?
I bought an extra of that plastic trim piece and am planning to drill holes to fit a RAM 1-inch ball plate for use with a RAM socket, X-grip phone mount...
Those Conti DWS have good reviews on TireRack comparisons.
When i was still living in the Northeast, on my BMW M235, i optioned it with summer tires (Michelin Pilot Super Sports at the time). It was my first nice, sporty car so i wanted the most/best features/performance--cars optioned with...
Kind of pricey for what is essentially sheets of plastic. I already bought, but haven't installed, the OEM splash guards yet. I might have considered it had it been available a couple of months back, but I don't like the logo/lettering on the flaps
I'll answer my own question....
I skipped the Dongar adapter since I'm using an Escort M2 dashcam that can daisy chain the RJ11 power connector from the mirrortaps to power both the cam and radar detector. I also installed the Civic Homelink mirror and jumped the yellow and red cables as well...
what mount (charging/non-charging?) do you use in addition to the base (any additional angle wedge/adapter)?
i have a google pixel 7 phone; i prefer android to ios. hopefully, with Qi2 standard released and chargers coming out, future google phones will have magnets for mounting.
anyway, i...
It's not the cost, (I've already spent a bunch and have invested in the RAM Mount system) but I hate to lose access to or functionality with the air vents and HVAC controls. Also, while the Proclip seems to rely on tension it still seems to use some type of adhesive strip. Would it be possible...
after this install, do you have to perform a full coolant drain and refill? or just some type of purge/de-airing cycle if needed?
also, being fully aluminum, how do you see/check the coolant level. i can't seem to find any markings/gauges in any of the photos
i still haven't found a great solution and keep wanting to use my RAM X-grip. having the phone in the charging tray is not convenient as i do occasionally have to access my phone.
I temporarily put a RAM mount 1-inch ball plate on the side of the center console to the right of the charging tray...
how are people powering the rear dash cam?
i currently have a mirror tap to power an Escort Radar and M2 camera for the front, but am looking to get an additional camera to place in the rear too.
I'm confused... what are the 18mm and 20mm drain plugs? Transmission fluid plugs?
Also, I'm curious if these parts/part numbers are interchangeable with Honda? There's a Honda dealership much closer to me than the local Acura dealership...
I noticed this behavior too, shuts off probably closer to 20 min. I was warming up my car and taking too long to get ready and by the time I got out, it had shutoff...
Also, for those who have bought the modern spare tire, what are the specs of the wheel? 18x4J? Offset/ET?
I wonder if we could replicate their set for cheaper by finding a comparable wheel (the tire itself is ~$110 at Tire Rack) or perhaps even a narrower wheel (and tire) that will be better...
What is it like if you were to place the spare in the space below the cargo liner (with the foam removed of course). I'd prefer having some lifting or losing the flush cargo floor vs losing all the trunk space with the tire on top.
I got the oil filter and washer at my local dealership; $9.xx for the filter and $0.58 for the washer. I also saw a 64mm oil cap wrench on the wall at the parts department and picked it up too since I don't have one and prefer that to a strap wrench, which also won't allow being able to torque...
08F20-TYB-200A is for the Integra. There is another set that is more dark chrome, 08F20-TGZ-200A, and may be sized a bit differently. If you look at the Honda Dreamshop under Acura accessories for the Integra Type S, 08F20-TYB-200A is the set that shows up.
I'm not sure if you'll be able to buy...
That's disappointing; it probably costs pennies. I liked how the oil filters for my BMW (MANN) included the crush washer and o-rings, I also like the top, engine bay mounted design of it too (rather than the bottom mounted design). I guess it's another part I'll have to grab from the dealer.
