Stek has colored PPF for a complete color change and , actually now that I think about it, I think they have varying level of "smoke" PPFs that are meant to darken your headlights. Wonder...

They actually do make tinted PPF its just extremely expensive and won't look that great unless you're doing it on a black car

The type R forged accessory wheel would maintain scrub R, drop ~20 lbs in unsprung and you could easily swap in acura center caps to look oem. Still 19" though

Stick to your guns, I think these will be pretty available after the first wave at msrp around the country. Both dealers by me are msrp only and a lot of them out there seem to be as well

6k is about average in my area, there are better rated PPFs out there though. If they're doing a full paint correction with it that's not a horrible price tbh if you're getting top tier work. Again it comes down to how long you'll keep the car and how much imperfection in the paint you're ok...

Looks amazing when clean, a nightmare to keep clean. If you aren't OCD it's manageable, also if you consider yourself a detailer it will make things easier but time consuming. Swirls will inevitably happen. Did I mention it looks amazing when clean?

The Type R seats were the best I've ever sat in which is surprising based on the amount of bolstering but I will freely admit that larger folks probably would feel differently about them

I'm a bit disappointed with the msrp. Clearly a cash grab from Acura which, I guess I can't blame them from a business standpoint. The math doesn't quite add up for what they're charging for what's been lost/gained from the type R but some people will for sure pay it and at the end of the day...

The reviews on the seats are what I'm looking forward to. It's a shame they passed on the opportunity to use some of the best seats in the business from the R but maybe they've made the correct decision, we'll see

I don't think that's true actually, where are you getting that information? They look fairly different. They more than likely took the seats from the base integra and added denser support

@Rdrcr isnt the type S moniker for Acura not equivelant to Honda's type R? Does the NSX type S add luxury and value to the base car or is it a sportier version? The reality is there were less than 4k Acura units produced over 2 decades ago that ever had a type R badge, honda would never let them...

Agreed I'm hopelessly optimistic for 46k, I genuinely don't think there's too much more cost over the type R but I've been wrong many times
