It's funny you mention that because the factory burble settings on the M2 are predictable, excessive, and a bit contrived if I'm being honest. Some owners (myself included) have gone in to code the factory burbles off. You still get a nice *pop* and *bang* on aggressive throttle and lift but...
My mental timeline is having me wonder why I haven't seen any on the streets yet then I realize it's still May and the cars haven't even been delivered yet.
Hoping to see some on dealer lots soon, especially in that tiger eye pearl!
Unfortunately I've reserved neither because the car is currently not for me. I will be following the journeys of the new owners to get a better understanding of the market and allocation process but I do plan to commit at some point after launch and delivery.
That gray works well with the red calipers and accents. I need to stick to my guns and go with a louder colored car this time around though. Mustard or blue? Leaning towards blue currently.
I was thinking there might be too much red going on with the calipers and tail lights but this looks pretty good.
Side note, I'm glad these wheels will be much easier to clean and I'll be adding lower dusting pads to the list of future mods.
I'm just here to complain and babble.
49k-50k I can work with from a value standpoint. 52k is out of the question, as-is, but I'm banking on discounts to bring the car back to a reasonable proposition. That may never happen and the cars will likely move even with markups but I do have to draw...
I'm curious to see what the aftermarket will offer for aero. I'm going to be leaning heavily into the OEM++ build.
Some light aero, streetable suspension, wheels, a mild tune, etc.
Digging that TEP paint.
Someone else mentioned it maybe in another post, but I'm surprised there's not more coverage on this car. Does Joe Raiti have some sort of coverage monopoly on this thing?
I like the guy but if I hear another reference to zonkin' twinkies I'm going to lose it!
It bothers me a little in that it's an afterthought type of addition but not enough to drive me away from the car. I like this bulge type of style and I think it fits the car very well. It would be nice if it were formed sheet metal vs added on but overall it's still a plus in my book. There's...
While cleaning the leaves and bugs off of my front end today, I've decided to add black mesh to my list of initial mods to the Integra. Something like this for the the upper and lower openings. It should help with reducing damage to the radiator fins also.
Zonkin' those BRONZE wheels. Bet I could cram a whole pack of Twinkies through the spokes. How would that wheel combo look on TEP, I wonder.
Back on topic, not a fan of piano black trim. We have it on our RDX and it's a nightmare to keep clean. I do like the stock shift knob and will probably...
Is it just me or are tint prices crazy? I paid $550 for the M2 a couple of years ago and I'm expecting around the same for the Integra but $850 is a bit much.
I'm leaning towards tiger eye/black but I'd take apex blue/black or liquid carbon/red as a backup option with white/red as my third. I'd have to see the red/black in person but I feel it might be too much red going around with the calipers, tail lights, engine cover, etc. As much as I like...
This is a new platform for me but I'm no stranger to Honda/Acura cars & suvs. I'm jumping the gun a little bit but I'm curious to know what new owner's plans are with their new Type S?
Are you taking it straight to the detailers for tint and wrap? Wheels? Planning some sort of tune after...
Fxx and Gxx generation cars are also skewed 4 doors vs their 2 door counterparts. The people have spoken!
I'm a coupe person myself but if I HAD to choose, today, between a 2 door or 4 door as my only car, I'd go with the 4 door for utility and being able to, more easily, put kids in car...
I'm squarely in this camp. I think it looks great but I'm (unfortunately) at that stage in life where I need slightly more utility (read "4 doors"). I can acquiesce to 4 doors but I *need* to have a stick and some semblance of performance if I'm going to be driving regularly again.
A 6 speed TL Type S? That car was a 4th generation lol. Unfortunately it was taken from me several years ago due to an accident. Still miss it to this day, just an all-around great car.
Just signed up for an account and popping in to say I'm looking forward to the Integra Type S. My last 6 speed Type S (TL) was fantastic and I'm hoping I can continue the experience with this upcoming car.
