I forgot...the weird thing is I'm getting engine sound through my sub after I start driving but completely fades away after 10-20seconds. I'm always in individual mode. It's a minor inconvenience, I just wait before turning the music up.
I will be looking to unplug that silly noise device.
Having more time with this...I can say I'm quite happy with it. I had a friend who's an audiophile have a listen....he put it louder than I've ever had it...into the 30's. The bass hit hard and clean. I'd say it didn't drop off at all.
The amp I have has a bass boost remote dial which is...
Child seat strap....it is unfortunate for sure.
And I haven't played with it enough to give a good answer. My gain isn't even set up yet. Plus...I dont want to push a new sub hard.
I Installed a mono amp and JL sub. So for wiring. I cut the wire going to the factory sub. I used a speaker wire to rca adapter (see pic). RCAs plugged into amp for signal. My amp accepts speaker level input so no need for a loc. Also no need for a remote wire. The amp gets the on/off signal...
I kind of got off the idea for now with winter here and all. There's a Facebook group where I'm pretty sure I saw a couple people with the rack installed.
Thinking of upgrading my factory sub. Anyone know of any "how to's" for panel removal in the trunk? I don't like the idea of just prying on panels without having seen it done before.
Fair enough. I was in the same position. Didn't know if I really need it. And spent a bunch on my springs and rims. I can always get a camber kit later on if it bothers me and then just do a 2 wheel alignment to dial it in.
Well my results are pretty good. Your wheel size won't be a factor so you should be fine with no camber kit. Some camber doesn't necessarily wear tires faster, it just wears them uneven. If you run a square setup, you can rotate your tires so they wear even.
Here's my alignment after lowering spring install with no camber kit.
Rear right seems to be out of spec by a bit. I'm not concerned with this. There's a couple variables that could be a factor in those results so I'm going to leave it as it. Toe is the biggest thing for tire wear. And my...
Installed my pro kit yesterday.
Quite happy with it. I will say it dropped more than the claimed 1.3" and 1". I personally wouldn't want it any lower. Almost no wheel gap. No regrets going with the pros over the sports.
Handling is great. Comparable to stock. I can feel the firmness on rougher...

Ya I get that....I'm just saying looking at the wheel gap on the ones who installed these, it appears the wheel gap decreased by more than 1.3"and 1". Maybe it's just the angle of the photos.
Am I right to say the Pro kit looks like it drops more than an inch!?? Installing mine tomorrow, pretty pumped! I am not doing camber kit and will be doing an alignment next week so I can post up results
