At first I thought the exhaust tips were straight out of the Type R, but after looking at it for months now I'm pretty sure they're different.
Both are oOo but the Type R's center tip is much larger than the test vehicle's.
TLX-S is getting about $1600 price bump for next year, and that includes the maintenance program that all Integras already come with.
8K difference at 47K still makes a lot of sense, but at the same time, it would be 12K more than the top trim Integra and that makes no sense at all.
Si doesn't come with an auto but the Integra does. So I'm pretty sure that they'll offer it as an option for the Type S too.
The question is: how different will the two versions be?
1. Same engine, same performance upgrades, both with LSD
2. Same engine, same performance upgrades, AT without...
The thing is, Honda will be introducing new hybrids starting with the CR-V. New tech to probably match other brands too.
Iirc, they said PHEV will be the most powerful trim for each model (minus the Civic lol).
Acura is technically not alone and Genesis is actually one of the other brands to...
A lot of automakers will be EV-only in 10 years. No surprise there.
However, I still don't get why Acura decided to skip HEV and PHEV.
Integra is the only model in Acura's line up with 30+mpg fuel economy. They're gonna NEED more EVs soon.
Well I don't think I can wait another year :(
IIRC, the 10hp difference has something to do with the Gas here in NA.
So I just don't see the ITS getting more hp, unless...you know, AWD... but we all know that ain't happening.
I think they are dropping the ZDX/ZTS teaser a little early to let people know what's coming.
It's their first ever BEV so they need to generate some level of hype for it. Promising the Type S variant can be a good way to do that.
I still believe that the ITS will come before the ZTS.
I've been asking for a detuned 2.0T base engine since the day they dropped the teaser, but it has more to do with the car itself than the "indirect" competitors in the video.
But in terms of heritage, the 1.5T actually makes more sense.
It's important to remember that the 2.0T was developed as...
