  1. Brake hold

Yup, no reason not to use it if you like it. The car is just maintaining brake line pressure when you come to a stop, so it's really nothing different than what you are manually doing w/ the brake pedal. In my Si, I've got in the habit of pressing the brake hold and sport buttons as soon as I...
  2. Official PERFORMANCE RED PEARL Integra Club & Photos

The red is amazing in person. Still not a fan of the orchid interior though as it seems tough to keep clean and the color along with the suede makes it almost seem perpetually dirty. The CF mirror caps seemed strange as they didn't actually cover up all of the red and honestly looked pretty...
  3. Fuel required

You'll get better fuel efficiency w/ higher octane, although I doubt it's good enough to offset the higher cost. https://www.caranddriver.com/features/a28565486/honda-cr-v-vs-bmw-m5-ford-f-150-dodge-charger/
  4. Seeking advice on Integra (rev-matching & view)

It's been a while since I've driven w/o a tune, but as far as engine braking goes, on the stock tune, the throttle doesn't close completely when you let off. I think it's kept at like 5% or something around there for emissions reasons. On my tune, the throttle is allowed to close to 1%, and I...
  5. Ktuner for 2023 Integra is live!

Cruise control still works as normal. Just when it is enabled, advanced VSA is disabled.
  6. Ktuner for 2023 Integra is live!

Also worth waiting to make sure some factory defect doesn't pop up that they could try to blame on a tune. Plus, your clutch will appreciate getting broken in without the extra torque.
  7. Ktuner for 2023 Integra is live!

Likely the same exact clutch as in the 11th gen Civic so clutch slip is likely based on what's been reported. Roll onto the throttle at lower RPMs or make sure you are at higher RPMs before going WOT.
  8. Retire or not?

Not sure I could stand dealing with lousy commuter car all-seasons. Really disappointed that Acura didn't offer a performance summer tire as an option. Last thing I want to do when purchasing a new car is pay to instantly swap out the tires.
  9. 2023 Integra Reviews Are Here (Full List)!

Yes, no, maybe. IF I had to purchase a new car, it would certainly be at the top of my list. I love my Si, but really would like to get back into a hatchback. I'm definitely going to test drive one to see how it actually compares. If it seems significantly softer even in sport mode, I might...
  10. 2023 Integra in Majestic Black Pearl arrives at Acura dealership in Brentwood, TN

"It won't last long"... aka "it's already sold, but stop in to ask about it and we'll try to sell you something else"
  11. Official: 2023 Acura Integra Full Pricing & Availability (June 2022) Released!

Agreed as I was hoping for the Integra to at least equal the Si from a handling perspective. Was hoping the adaptive dampers offered firmness on par w/ the Si when in sport mode, but it sounds like it's a bit softer. Now what that actually means from a handling perspective is yet to be seen...
  12. Official: 2023 Acura Integra Full Pricing & Availability (June 2022) Released!

Any dealer will install other tires for you, but you'll be paying full price for them unfortunately. Really can't believe Acura put such crappy tires on the top package or didn't make a performance tire an option. They really seem to limit the potential of the platform.
  13. Official: 2023 Acura Integra Full Pricing & Availability (June 2022) Released!

Yes. You can always fall back to wired CarPlay or AA.
  14. Official: 2023 Acura Integra Full Pricing & Availability (June 2022) Released!

Based on how the 10th gen worked, I believe you are correct. The tune will follow whatever sport/normal/comfort engine setting is selected and in individual you'll be able to mix and match the tune/suspension/steering settings.
  15. Official: 2023 Acura Integra Full Pricing & Availability (June 2022) Released!

In the 10th and 11th gen, Ktuner allows for different boost targets in normal and sport, so it should be the same for the Integra. Maybe it'll even get a 3rd option for the comfort setting.
  16. Official: 2023 Acura Integra Full Pricing & Availability (June 2022) Released!

Interesting, first I've heard that they turned the L15 specifically for the Integra. Interested to see how it differs.
  17. Official: 2023 Acura Integra Full Pricing & Availability (June 2022) Released!

I'd imagine it will be trivial for Ktuner and Hondata to support the Integra as it will likely just be another ECU version of the same 11th gen. Probably short work to just transfer over the Si tunes for the 6MT. Will probably take a bit longer for the CVT since that hasn't been paired w/ the...
  18. Official: 2023 Acura Integra Full Pricing & Availability (June 2022) Released!

Just to add, biggest issue seems to be the clutch on even some lightly modified cars not being able to handle the added torque.
  19. Curb Weight of Integra A-Spec w/ Tech: 3,073 lbs (manual) and 3,150 lbs (CVT)! [OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED]

Ah, looks like maybe all new Civics have aluminum hoods. Not seeing any references to the fenders though.
  20. Curb Weight of Integra A-Spec w/ Tech: 3,073 lbs (manual) and 3,150 lbs (CVT)! [OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED]

I think somewhere I saw that the Integra has an aluminum hood. Any other aluminum panels that people are aware of? My old WRX had an aluminum hood and it was crazy how light it was. Aluminum panels on the Integra would help offset the added features and any additional sound deadening, which I...
