  1. Integra Type-S Predictions - PLACE YOUR BETS!!!

I don't think it will come with a rear brace. Maybe a dealer installed option? Not many hatchbacks have oem rear braces. Most 2 seater special edition hot hatches have it, but regular mass production versions of them don't. In fact, the only example that I can think of right now is the i30N with...
  2. Kia K5 GT (w/GT1 package)

It's on the long list of "the cars that I almost bought" lol It's not for me, but many people will be happy with it. Much better than 2.5T Stinger if you don't care about the RWD dynamics and the hatch. The 8DCT in it is absolutely amazing and it looks much, much better than the Sonata...
  3. Official: 2023 Acura Integra Full Pricing & Availability (June 2022) Released!

Imo Acura doesn’t exactly know what they are and we probably don’t either lol But something like Cupra would have been fun.
  4. What’s it gonna take to get you to buy a Type S?

The difference is that the type-R is not just a slightly faster Civic. It's proper high performance hot hatch with a lot of bespoke parts. It might make sense at or above $47K but I don't think many people would want to pay that much for a "Civic." S3 doesn't get all the fancy stuff from Golf R...
  5. Integra Type-S Predictions - PLACE YOUR BETS!!!

Just realized 2.0T option on the Accord costs $4,530.
  6. Integra Type-S Predictions - PLACE YOUR BETS!!!

The Accord 2.0T is tuned for regular fuel. I'm pretty sure Acura will at least recommend premium fuel for the ITS.
  7. Integra Type-S Predictions - PLACE YOUR BETS!!!

2.0T 10AT FWD with about 275hp - Acura loves Honda's parts bin. Integra's 1.5T powertrain came straight out of the Civic. - The Integra Prototype had Brembos with painted A-spec wheels. IF the brake system was borrowed from the ITS, it would mean two things: 1. It won't get the Type-R's...
  8. Official: 2023 Acura Integra Full Pricing & Availability (June 2022) Released!

It's just a Hyundai/Kia thing. There's some kind of agreement between the management and the union, IIRC. Korean market only gets Korean built cars and North America only gets cars from North America and Korea. That's why we can't get EU spec Hyundai/Kia here. But they made i30/Elantra GT in...
  9. Official: 2023 Acura Integra Full Pricing & Availability (June 2022) Released!

They have i30N, i30 Fastback N, and i20N. We get nothing lol Interestingly, they don't sell them in their home market either, so at least we know we're not alone.
  10. What’s it gonna take to get you to buy a Type S?

But then, have they been "smart" recently? 🤷‍♂️ I really hope to see something soon tho.
  11. Official: 2023 Acura Integra Full Pricing & Availability (June 2022) Released!

It's funny that they offer the N in 3 different body style and none of them is a regular hatchback.
  12. Official: 2023 Acura Integra Full Pricing & Availability (June 2022) Released!

But that's not really related to the pricing of the Integra. Basically all car sales are like that.
  13. Individual tire pressure readings!

Mazda is a mainstream brand. They have plans to evolve into a luxury brand, but that's not getting done anytime soon. Most people here will probably agree that Acura's not premium enough to compete against real luxury brands. But it is still a luxury division of Honda. That's what matters...
  14. Individual tire pressure readings!

I agree there's nothing wrong with it performance wise. Hell, even the fastest FWD production vehicle on the Nurburgring has torsion beam. What I'm saying is that the Mazda 3 shouldn't be considered premium just yet, especially with the torsion beam set up.
  15. Individual tire pressure readings!

It's perfectly acceptable for a mainstream compact hatchback. However it's unacceptable for anything with a premium badge. So it's the very first thing they need to take care of before actually becoming a 100% premium brand. TPMS, on the other hand, is absolutely necessary. There's nothing...
  16. Individual tire pressure readings!

I think it’s a safety feature that every car should come with. The speed sensor really bothered me when I had my CTR.
  17. All-New 2023 Civic Type R Sets New Suzuka Circuit Lap Record! 🏁

0.8sec isn’t much. But that’s compared to the LE. It’s more than 2 sec quicker than the Megane RS Trophy R and I’m pretty sure that was quicker than the regular FK8. Impressive lap times but I don’t see a huge hp increase happening either.
  18. Doug DeMuro's First Look at New Integra

I’m pretty sure the two will wait for the actual test drive. I think someone from the AVA will be next. So Redline, Matt Maran or Alex on Autos.
  19. First Look at 2023 Integra A-spec by Raiti’s Rides

I think flat bottom wheels look cool, but I agree they are not really functional. BMW is one of the brands that don't use flat bottom wheels. In fact, I heard one of the very first things Albert Biermann did at Hyundai was getting rid of the flat bottom wheels. They were putting them on Ioniqs...
  20. First Look at 2023 Integra A-spec by Raiti’s Rides

I just don't think holding the hood while reaching for the prop is a luxury experience. Single gas strut would've been enough. Tbh I personally don't mind a hood prop, but I think it's another example that shows Acura's not 100% sure what this vehicle is.
