It's possible they could be testing them with the HRC coilovers though? The exhaust and the ride height don't seem to look stock? I also see red control arms for the suspension.

They're testing two cars WITHOUT any other HRC aero accessories at the nurburgring. My theory is that this is the 2027 Type S and the new hood is the new standard hood, and they're going to announce the refreshed car alongside a lap time.

I wasn't expecting cooled seats, but now that the CTR has heated seats, it seems like a way to keep the two differentiated.

Honda has already officially said they are updating the Type S this year. They also already unveiled the 2027 Type R and its updates. The Integra A-spec Manual and Civic Si were paused for emissions reasons. If that were to happen to the Type S it would have happened to the Type R too.

Well once the 2027 Integra Type S comes out, I’m sure msrp will be bumped another 2k. That being said your point about Civics being marked up still stands.

Talked to a local dealer about if they had any details and they didn't. But they did say they had a 2026 coming in in mid-October. So it's going to be November at the very earliest for the 2027s I think.

Has anyone heard anything from their dealers? I believe at this time last year the 2026s were already trickling into dealerships... I checked motoring obsession and it looks like 2026 inventories are actually going up rather than down the last 2 weeks lol.

I believe Acura already announced they’d start selling in Japan in the second half of the year, and that they’d be LHD. I think it’s common for European manufacturers to sell LHD in Japan.

Was going to buy a 2026 DE5 but held off because there's a refresh coming this year, has anyone heard anything about when 2027s might be coming? I think previous model years came in roughly Aug-Sept.

Maybe I’m reading too far into it, but this makes me think the 2027 is gonna have major changes to connectivity/infotainment, otherwise why would they sunset this?

I think Honda themselves announced at an event that they would import the DE5 to Japan if there was enough demand. As for regulations, maybe there’s exceptions if it’s low enough volume?

The only front end update I could foresee is if they changed the grille to be like the one from the HRC concept. I don’t think it would sell very well as an accessory, so they might as well use it on the facelift. I also wonder if the fenders will change to match the HRC one, cuz it looks like...

I think that website is actually broken now, I think it's not picking up 2026s and only showing 2025s. The color filters for 2026 aren't available on there either.
