  1. About drop-in engine filters and aftermarket air intakes.

I haven't installed it yet -- planning to do it next weekend (gonna do a transmission fluid change while I have the airbox out and an oil change since that means I'll have the car up / undertray off, etc.). I'll let you know.
  2. About drop-in engine filters and aftermarket air intakes.

I received my intake with the paper filter: Here are "close-ups" with the filter held directly in front of a bright light (first with flash on, second with flash off): I don't have any real testing / specs / data, but going off a visual inspection only, I've seen (and was expecting) much worse.
  3. Official Wheel Fitment Thread for DE5 Acura Integra Type S

Honestly, just do whatever you want. Most people who lower their car don't even take steps to correct for camber issues and are running a fair bit more negative camber in the rear than in front (leading to understeer issues), in addition to some of the other "complexities" I've mentioned, and...
  4. Official Wheel Fitment Thread for DE5 Acura Integra Type S

There is no specific amount to correct for it. All Mcpherson's suffer dynamic camber changes under compression, but the dual-axis design attempts to mitigate this. It is most effective at minor compression (performing admirably close to double-wishbone for what it is), but performance trends...
  5. Official Wheel Fitment Thread for DE5 Acura Integra Type S

Aesthetics are much better with a drop, imo. I was on the fence, but I decided to stay on stock springs, as you introduce some (correctable) geometry issues (like F/R camber relationship, roll center, and bump steer) and you also give up a significant portion of the optimal operating range of...
  6. Official Wheel Fitment Thread for DE5 Acura Integra Type S

I am on stock springs. I have absolutely no rubbing with a 285/30R19 on 19.5 x 10.5 et48. Whether or not you would rub with the Eibach Pro Kit, I'm not sure. 20mm (or 25 to be extra safe if you're using them to determine fitment) spacers is a good test. @optronix is running those springs (I...
  7. Added A Subtle Carbon Fiber Rear Spats to My Acura Integra Type S | Jogon

I much prefer these to the V1... V1 was too aggressive, imo -- same for the lip and sideskirts. I wonder if they will do a more restrained V2 version of the sideskirts like they did for these and for the lip? We need some diffuser options...
  8. Disappointed with Acura Overall

Ideally, I agree with you. And, while I also agree with you that it shouldn't be acceptable, I think the sad reality is that $30k doesn't exempt you from orange peel, etc. these days.
  9. Disappointed with Acura Overall

I won't contest anything here, and I'll add that the dealership experience is best avoided completely. That said, one thing to keep in mind: When this car was released, the base Integra started at just over $30k. While that's a CVT with a different engine, transmission, suspension, etc., the...
  10. What did you do to your Integra Type S today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

Okay, that checks out. It took me approx. 1 36 sq ft box to do the same (as you using 4 10 sq ft). Box size is relevant 🤣
  11. What did you do to your Integra Type S today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

What size box? I think I used just over 3 boxes of 36sq ft to do the floor of the cabin from the firewall to the hatch (including under rear seats), the hatch, and inside the doors, as well as the sub cabinet and additional treatment on hollow sounding interior plastic panels.

  13. What did you do to your Integra Type S today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

Have they adhered well or did you use a supplemental adhesive?
  14. What did you do to your Integra Type S today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

How much foil did you use for the hood?
  15. Autocross megathread

NP! If you get them, post back. I almost grabbed a pair to daily, but stayed with 19s for that. I'd pick these for autocross / track, etc., though (anything 200tw). I think they're basically perfect fitment from a performance standpoint.
  16. Autocross megathread

I think +55 is the closest you'll get to the +53 if you want Titan7: https://dreamshop.honda.com/s/product/hrc-titan7-ts5-forged-18x10-wheel/01tUT000009uTF6YAM
  17. About drop-in engine filters and aftermarket air intakes.

Yes, they posted on their socials, and then confirmed to me via email.
  18. About drop-in engine filters and aftermarket air intakes.

No idea. I don't have one. Maybe ask @optronix? That might change now, though. 🤣
