I appreciate the heads up. I checked it and it seemed okay to my untrained eyes/hands. Dealership told me it was worn pads causing the caliper guide pins to catch or move at an angle. That's my best understanding of what they told me, I could have misunderstood what they meant.
FYI to anyone following this:
I took it to dealer, they advised my brake pads wore down and were causing the caliper guide pins to contact something or move at an angle. Idk how to describe it, that's how they explained it to me.
They replaced pads, flushed brake fluid, resurfaced my rear...
Hey all,
I have a 2024 de5 with 16k miles. I recently had some rocks stuck in between the rotor and shield, and I dislodged them the way we all normally do it: go in reverse, side to side, hit brakes hard.
Ever since then, I've had this ratcheting/creaking sound with my brakes. It happens with...
Haha I'm alive and still have the exhaust. Did not get robbed.
Still, annexing SFL probably isn't the worst idea.
Work got nuts and I forgot about this entirely. PM'd back and gave my cell # :)
The tone was pretty great, it sounded really mean. With my downpipe it was very loud and I experienced droning, was too much for me but maybe I'm just sensitive.
I would hazard a guess that it's very livable without a downpipe

It’s a bit late, but I am running the exact setup you are asking about (TSP DP/ PRL FP with the rest of the exhaust untouched).
It sounds great. Deeper, louder, engine braking sounds amazing.
I recorded a comparison video - iPhone doesn’t pick up the low frequency/deeper notes well, but you...
Hi all, I wasn’t able to find any good video comparisons of the sound of the stock exhaust vs TSP downpipe and PRL frontpipe ONLY, with otherwise stock exhaust. So, being unable to find said video, I made one myself. I hope this helps anyone who is considering this exact setup.
FWIW - iPhone...
I think the 1-2 shift improvement is a result of the car being more comfortable to rev higher in first - prior to the tune, it felt like the car wanted me to get out of first gear ASAP. Now it feels like I can climb the tach a little more, so I end up shifting at slightly higher RPM. It could...
Strong recommendation for @JesterTuned . I got tuned by him recently and my experience was great, he’s super nice and knowledgeable, and my car runs soo much better than stock (not that stock is awful, but if you’re here you know what I mean). I posted a long review detailing my experience as a...
Hey all, longtime (relatively) lurker here, first time poster. I wanted to shout out @JesterTuned . I got in touch with him after reading this thread and his other posts. My experience was so positive that I decided to make an account just to tell any other lurkers about my experience.
He...
