Ok, actual question: has anyone ever had a warranty claim denied just because of the jailbroken ECU? Or are people very diligent about having a cloned ECU to swap in for warranty work?

Is the new cooling plate a lot thicker? The fact that Honda went to all that trouble to add so many ribs to the stock plate means they were really focused on its rigidity… I guess: worst case the new plate sounds a little bit like a thunderstorm and dents easier.

For track use I would be looking at cooling. Heat soak is what hinders the engines and brakes after a few hot laps. Upgrade the radiator, intercooler, t-stat, maybe add an oil cooler and a ventilated aluminum panel under the engine. For brakes I heard that pads and fluid would be really wise.
